NEMCOG is working with MDOT and Networks Northwest to create a new Active Transportation Plan for MDOT's North Region. As part of this process, a workshop is being scheduled in each county to talk with the public about the local nonmotorized needs. The public will be able: to look at maps of the existing nonmotorized facilities and to indicate where their preferred bicycling routes are; to identify areas they'd like to bicycle but cannot; to identify where gaps exist that need to be filled; and to offer options for addressing needs.
