Lake Huron Shoreline, Alcona County

Alcona

Harrisville, Lincoln, Hubbard Lake, Glennie, Greenbush

Alcona County has it all. Much of the county is comprised of Huron National Forest and all the goodness that has to offer; in fact, the town of Glennie is considered the heart of Huron National Forest.  Hubbard Lake, one of Michigan’s largest inland lakes, is a popular destination for all things water related in the summer and ice fishing in the winter.  On the eastern border, the US 23 Heritage Route hugs the Lake Huron coastline.  Along with the natural beauty Alcona County has to offer, the county is creating a Farm to Fork local food movement and promotes creativity and art for all ages.
