AuSable River, Oscoda County

Oscoda

Mio, Fairview, Luzerne, Comins, McKinley

Although it is the least populous county in Michigan’s lower peninsula, Oscoda County is full of natural beauty and untamed wilderness. The Au Sable River runs through the heart of the county, and the Huron National Forest protects much of the land. The area is perfect for ORV/ATV riding, paddling sports, hunting, birding, camping, or simply getting out to enjoy the great outdoors.  For a unique glimpse into another culture and lifestyle, check out the Amish Country stores in Mio and Fairview.
