About the event
Winter Outdoor Fun Day at the Otsego Environmental Learning Site behind Gaylord Middle School at 600 East Fifth Street, Gaylord. March 1st, Sat. from 10 am to 1 pm. Follow signs to parking. Then follow signs to hike in to the Cabin area.
KOO activities are primarily for young children birth to eight, with their Parents/ Caregivers. Older siblings and other family members are very welcome too.
We’ll be doing fun outdoor winter activities for parents and kids to enjoy together:
Snowshoeing on several short trail loops in the snowy woods. Bring your own snowshoes, or use loaners (we’ll have both kids & adults sizes) from HeadWaters Land Conservancy. Thanks – HWLC! Explore and discover – what will you find on the snowy trails?
Sled rides on the trails (parents pull!). Bring a sled or borrow one of ours.
Snow Mazes, Snow Angels, & Snow Games.
