About the event

Wolverine State 100 is true Michigan fall trail running—quiet woods, changing leaves, and a point-to-point journey across the Lower Peninsula from Lake Michigan to Lake Huron.

Taking place October 10–11, 2026, this one-of-a-kind event offers multiple ways to be part of the adventure: 100 Mile, 100K, 50K, and 100 Mile Relay. Whether you’re crossing the state solo, teaming up for the relay, or stepping up to an ultra distance for the first time, Wolverine State 100 is about forward motion, shared effort, and going somewhere real.

The course delivers a little bit of everything—sand, rocks, roots, leaf-covered singletrack, forest trails, and quiet backroads—paired with well-stocked aid stations and incredible volunteers who show up to support you every step of the way. With thoughtful training and a sense of curiosity, the challenge becomes an unforgettable fall experience rooted in Michigan’s landscapes and communities.

Come for the distance. Stay for the people.…
